Plasmiq provides AI receptionists that answer phone calls for businesses and send follow-up texts such as confirmations and lead details. This policy describes what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Plasmiq web app and to conversations handled by Plasmiq agents on behalf of our customers.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
- Agent configuration: your business details, greeting, FAQ, hours, and routing numbers.
- Conversation data: when a Plasmiq agent handles a call, we process and store call recordings, transcripts, caller phone numbers, the content of texts the agent sends, and details callers share (for example, appointment requests or callback information).
- Captured leads: names, numbers, and notes the agent collects for the business.
- Usage data: logs, call durations, and product analytics used to operate the service.
How we use it
We use this information to run your agent (answering calls, booking appointments, texting details to you and your callers), to show you transcripts, recordings, and leads in your dashboard, to bill for usage, and to keep the service reliable and secure. We do not sell personal information.
Call recording
Calls handled by Plasmiq agents may be recorded and transcribed so the business can review them. Businesses using Plasmiq are responsible for complying with the call-recording consent laws that apply in their jurisdiction, including any required caller notification.
Service providers
Plasmiq is built on infrastructure and AI providers that process data on our behalf: Vapi (voice agent runtime), Twilio (telephony and SMS), Anthropic (language models), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Cal.com (scheduling, when connected). Each processes only what is needed to provide its function.
Retention
Conversation data is retained while the associated account is active so the business can review its history. You can request deletion of your account and its data by contacting us.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your agent configuration at any time. If you are a caller whose conversation was handled by a Plasmiq agent, contact the business you called.
